“Please do not flux” I thought. 100 feet in the air while repairing a gravity monitor was the worst time for a flux, especially one of the downers that made everything, including me, exponentially heavier. I was trying not to think about how my harness would stand up if a level 10 downer hit. All the experts agreed gravity was on an upswing, we had not had above a level 3 downer in months. Suddenly my body felt as if it was being pushed down. I heard the snapping of my harness as the gravity rose and I plummeted down.
